User Rights & Data Access Policy

1. Introduction

STI-12 (OPEN Healthcare Kazakhstan) established this policy to regulate user rights and data access. The organization commits to protecting customer privacy and complying with the laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan on personal data. Users agree to these terms by selecting "Agree" when accessing services or installing applications.

2. User Rights

During data management and processing, users possess the following rights:

2.1 Right to Access Data

Users may request information about the type of personal data collected, its purpose of use, and any third parties with whom data is shared. STI-12 provides copies upon valid requests.

2.2 Right to Rectify Data

Users can request corrections or updates to inaccurate or incomplete personal information.

2.3 Right to Erase Data

Users may request deletion when:

  • Data no longer serves the original collection purpose
  • Users withdraw previously given consent
  • Data processing was unlawful

STI-12 deletes data within 72 working hours, except in cases where legal regulations require retention.

2.4 Right to Object to Data Processing

Users may object to processing for marketing or automated analysis purposes.

2.5 Right to Withdraw Consent

Users can withdraw consent anytime, though this may affect service provision.

2.6 Right to Data Portability

Users may request personal data in a portable format for use with another service.

2.7 Other Rights

Additional rights provided by law apply.

3. Method of Exercising Rights

3.1 Direct Website/Application Modifications

Users can log into accounts and directly modify, supplement, replace, or delete provided data. STI-12 processes requests within 72 hours from the time the request is made.

3.2 Cookie Management

Users may accept or decline cookie storage in browser settings by selecting "Block all cookies" to stop STI-12 tracking immediately.

3.3 Other Data Types

Users submit requests to support@sti12.kz, with responses provided within 72 working hours from receiving the request.

4. Disclaimer

STI-12 commits to data protection standards but disclaims liability for:

  • Unauthorized access from user negligence with login credentials
  • Cyber attacks, malware, or infrastructure failures beyond control
  • Third-party service incidents (hosting, payment gateways)
  • Legal policy changes in Kazakhstan or internationally
  • User-caused data modification or misuse
  • System maintenance and service interruptions

Users must protect their personal accounts, following STI-12's security instructions, and not sharing personal information with any unauthorized parties.

5. Policy Changes

STI-12 may modify policies to meet legal requirements or improve services. Significant changes receive at least seven (07) days in advance notification. Continued service use constitutes acceptance of revised terms.

6. Governing Law, Complaint and Dispute Resolution

Policies follow the laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Complaints receive resolution within thirty (30) working days from the date STI-12 receives the complaint. Disputes undergo negotiation before court resolution in competent courts where STI-12 headquarters operates. Legal costs fall to the losing party.
